As part of the Interalpin 2019, the 20-year jubilee of Input was celebrated! On this occasion company founder Helmut Müller joined the booth and met old and new input friends!

"The credo in founding Input" in 1999 was to develop mountain experience concepts with a focus on summer. 365 days of mountain experience for the entire family was to develope within the cable car world . All this happend at a time when no one in this industry had seriously thought about the "mountain summer". At that time, mainly pioneer and visionary work was done.

The know-how, which Input developed over the years was in demand worldwide and opened the doors to international projects. It all started on the mountain and after 20 years input not only developed projects in the Alps and its valleys, but also at sea and in urban areas.


The Interalpin 2019 was once again a highlight for the mountain and cable car industry. Above all, of course, the parent company of Input - Doppelmayr - as a quality, technology and market leader in ropeway construction.

As we noticed again this year, creativity and good planning are not enough but the basis for further milestones and process steps. This becomes very clear in the core markets of the Alps, but also in new markets such as China. At the booth with the longstanding partner company Loop21 we were visited by customers as well as by partners diligently and of course this unique opportunity was used to look for something new, in whatever direction that might go.
