Input Projektentwicklungs GmbH and 3DBA has sold the world’s first Mountain Glider to Walibi attraction park located near Brussels, Belgium.
This pioneering innovation by Doppelmayr is a novel adventure tool which can be erected on the mountain and in amusement parks alike.
The "Walibi" amusement park, a member of the Star Parks Group, has gained a new attraction!
In the summer of 2007, the mountain glider alias "Vertigo" opened to the public. The ride begins at a height of 55 meters reached with the help of a vertical lift (5.5 m/sec). From this vantage point you're treated to a stunning view of the Belgian park. The flight covers a distance of more than 700 meters with spans of up to 200 meters long. A curvy flight path lets you glide over a better part of the park.
