The INPUT Company congratulates the family-friendly region of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis for its receipt of the Province of Tyrol’s highest tourism award – the TIROL TOURISTICA.
We are especially pleased to share our pleasure with the award winners because we were considerably involved in many of the products (Murmlitrail, Murmli Water, Summer Fun Park in Fiss and it’s Fisser plane).
We wish all those involved continued success for their future developments in the area of tourism.
The Province of Tyrol’s highest tourism award – the Tyrol Touristica – was bestowed on the family-friendly region of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, during the 32nd Tyrolean Tourism Forum. A panel of five experts was very impressed by the success of the internationally acclaimed overall concept: since the year 2000 a 50% increase in visitor arrivals could be attained.”

Since 2000 there has been a 26% increase in overnight stays and a 50% increase in visitor arrivals. Particularly impressive is the 128% total revenue increase for mountain cable cars and lifts since 2004. Furthermore, the number of year-round jobs has doubled from 60 to 120 in four years.
The average visitor’s length of stay is also very gratifying: Visitors stay in the region an average of 6.6 days during the winter and 6.4 days in the summer. In comparison the average for all of Austria is 4 days.
Such statistics speak for themselves!
